Heart failure (HF) is a syndrome linked to ageing that entails poor health outcomes [1]. HF patients usually present a high number of comorbidities [1]. Grade of comorbidity is increased with age and is associated with worsening of symptoms, hospital admissions, and mortality among HF subjects [2].
