European School of Internal Medicine - Greenwich Maritime University, London: September 2009
The first European School in London attracted 73 delegates from over 30 countries, and was held in the historic surroundings of Sir Christopher Wren's Naval College in Greenwich. There was a full programme of clinical and scientific activities, but with a varied social programme which made the most of the beautiful Autumn weather. The format allowed plenty of interchange between residents both inside and outside the lecture hall, and many new friendships were formed. For details including the programme visit: www.esim2009.org

in this project, please send your contact details and name of the hospital(s)

Candidates for the International Advisory Board for EJIM
EFIM Executive Committee and the Editorial Board of the European Journal of
Internal Medicine decided to newly create an International Advisory
Board for the official scientific organ of EFIM, in which each member
country should designate a representative. The goals of this Board are to advise
the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board on the strategies to be implemented
and followed to foster the journal itself, and to make it a leading journal
in the arena of internal medicine. Your choice should be based on a person that
will be felt as fully representing the country and your Society. We expect that
your designated member will participate at the yearly Editorial Board meetings,
that take place during the annual EFIM Congresses, but also that he/she triggers
the submission of articles to EJIM coming from the best scientific production
in internal medicine and associated subspecialties from your country.
Please inform us of the person designated by your society at your earlier convenience
to c.gutierrez@agshq.com
