Over the past few years, the issue of retractions has attracted the attention of researchers and many studies have reported the current state of retractions [1]. Many previous studies have analyzed the status of retractions from different perspectives but haven't in clinical studies [2]. Many studies simply describe the number of retracted papers which lacks an explanation behind the numbers; Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze in more detail the retraction of clinical studies in the world by integrating information from different sources of data to provide the missing explanation.
