The amount of physical activity (PA) recommended for the elderly is the same as for adults aged 18–64 [1]; however, older people are less keen to attend gyms regularly. Exercise group-based programs led by professionals are effective in increasing PA [2] but, because of sustainability issues, they often have a limited duration, rendering difficult the beneficial behavioral modifications to persist over time.
