The effectiveness of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination program in mitigating COVID-19 outbreaks, even with limited protection against infection, is well established [1,2]. Available data support continued efforts to increase vaccination, booster campaigns, and other multiple additional layers of protection against infection. Nonetheless, as a population strategy to curb the pandemic, safety of COVID-19 vaccines is being actively monitored. The most frequent adverse reactions observed during the vaccination campaigns are generally of mild or moderate degree.
