Life style changes represent the cornerstone of treatment in patients with arterial hypertension since not only they decrease blood pressure (BP) levels, but also reduce cardiovascular (CV) risk [1]. The recommended lifestyle changes by current ESH/ESC guidelines include restriction of salt and alcohol, physical activity, smoking cessation, a healthy diet and weight loss [1]. The mean expected BP reduction for each lifestyle adoption is approximately 3-5 mmHg [1,2]. On the other hand, we know that many individuals especially seniors are sleeping at noon.
