Sexual dysfunction is a typical complication of myocardial infarctions [1] and a high percentage of men limit or cease sexual activity following a myocardial infarction (MI) [2]. The potential factors limiting sexual activity include low level of knowledge about the possibility of having sex and the availability of pharmacotherapy of proven efficacy for erectile disorders (ED) [3]. Thus, we perfored our study to shed more light on the topic of sexual activity among post-MI patients. The aim of our study was to analyze how much men undergoing cardiac rehabilitation know about the possibility of conducting sexual activity and the treatment of ED after MI.
